If you’d offered us a point before we set off for Middlesbrough, we would have probably told you to stuff it, but when Marek Rodak got himself sent off less than 20 minutes into only his second league start for the Cottagers, it looked a long way off; and the final whistle at 0-0 was a welcome one.

Whether Fulham’s win was down to good defensive awareness or Boro being completely toothless is up for debate, so we took up that mantle and discussed the ups and downs of our trip to the Riverside.
