Podcast: Nights Like These

15th May 2018

It took everything, but Fulham, emblazoned by the lights and atmosphere of a bouncing Craven Cottage, made their chances count and overcame a 1-0 reverse at Pride Park with an emphatic win to send the Whites to Wembley for the first time since 1975.

Not much to talk about then.

We’re going to Wembley, and we’re 90 minutes (maybe) from a place in the Premier League, but the boys have plenty of time to work themselves into a frenzy about next week, so this pod is going to be a pure dedication to last night’s ecstacy and a revelling in the moment before attentions return to the hard work left to come.

We bathe in the highlights of last night, of gorgeous performances from Stef, TC, Mitro and Ream; of our very own wonderkid who did it again; and sing praises to the heavens of the most unlikely of superheroes – Denis Odoi.

As ever, there’s time for questions and a vague discussion surrounding the arrangements in place for the big day out, but mostly it’s just a warm snug podcast to help you remember all the glory of Fulham’s first ever playoff game victory.
