Disagrre about Bobb having nonreal pace, he is a bit like Harry in that he has very quick, sharp movement over short distances, just watch back some.of his pressing. Also I think it's a bit lazy to go to the 'TC slows the game down' trope. He is actually one of the players who always keeps the ball actively moving, and frequently initiates forward momentum when other players would just step on the ball or pass backwards. TC is just good at doing the right things in the right moment, it isn't simply slowing things down.
Agree with the ratings - Ryan was poor today defensively, given that Bowen is such a threat would prefer to see Robinson start. Anxious that Raul looks so much more of a threat than Muinz and to make it worse, works harder or at least more intelligently.
I thought Tete ought to have pressured better on their goal - backing off when their in your own box is poor. Sess was facing the wrong way, too. Actually IMO both of our corner men seemed poor and should have been subbed off very early in the 2nd. The Silva subs themselves invited danger as Iwobi and ESR and Berger were in total control of the midfield. Probably only the injured Wilson needed subbing up front - although Cuenca's presence pushed Bassey & Diop over for needed cover.
Sammy, Very good ratings. Fair and balanced : unlike some of too negative and cloudy ones--by other writers--in the past. West Ham on Wednesday presents a real test--no one would have guessed that earlier in the season.
Agreed that Diop and Iwobi were 2 of Fulham’s brightest today. Diop a clear MOM for me. Sessegnon very ooor today , as was Raul’s hold up play. Bobb very quiet in first half but had a great 20mins spell in 2nd half.
We missed Kevin speed and directness.
I am have never been convinced that Muniz can lead the line for a premier league team but I fully appreciate that he coming back from a long injury.
West Ham will be a test on Wednesday and wonder if We need to look at our LB options against Bowen. Maybe bring back Robinson or play Bassey there and bring Cuenca into middle to partner Diop …
