Would I be over the moon with a win? Absolutely. Do I think 5+ points would be a great return and set us up nicely for the season? Definitely.
But with the quality of opposition, the number of games we’re facing early on, and all the changes happening at the Cottage, I think we need to be realistic and not get ahead of ourselves.
Great article Elizabeth. Last season we took 7 points from these games, more than I’d expected. Almost impossible to predict this season. So many of those five teams have new managers. I am going into this season full of optimism. We usually start well and fall off our perch for the last third. I see AA as a long term project. Spanish Real friends really rate him. Exciting times
I’d be shocked and delighted with 5 points, I think 2 points is more realistic. I think we will be fine in the long run if we stick the course, but I think we will be in for a bumpy start.
I hope that everyone (me included) can be patient and not call for Arbeloa’s head in November, as a new style of play and new players could take a while to bed in.
I think we get something from the Chelsea game. What I notice about Fulham is we get points where we shouldn't and don't when we probably should.

5 points from the opening 5 matches? I'm afraid we are in for a bumpy ride... may lady luck be with us...
I think we're looking at 4 points with maybe a win and a draw v Palace and Sunderland. Whether I'd be happy with that is a different matter.
