Love the article! I’ve read how to win the premier league and enjoyed it. I agree with everything you said, but a confounding factor is that Fulham carries less players than the bigger clubs, so they sometimes have to start their signing regardless do to limited options.
If we fade in late February & through March - like we have in the last two years - then Silva's rejuvenation of lower priced transfers are footnotes. But, if we can sustain this latest run 'til seasons end, then the genius is indeed his.
I presume that clubs like Fulham have a higher starter % a we don't have the luxury of signing big money players and having them as bit part players (like Darwin Nunez at Liverpool)
