Fulham have been promoted with four games to spare.

We’re baaaack!

Successive defeats for the first time this season jolted the Whites into life, as we secured promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt, in front of our own fans.

That’s the main headline of an historic evening. Another is that Mitrovic has now hit 40 league goals. Forty. He put us ahead on just nine minutes thanks to a Joe Bryan cross - ah, the memories.

His 40th came before half-time, finishing from his new assist machine, Harry Wilson. His two strikes sandwiched a rifle from Fabio Carvalho. His last in a white shirt? Probably not.

We could have won by more - and Mitro could’ve had more - had it not been for Preston’s keeper. But it didn’t matter - our main objective was achieved. We’re back. Win at Bournemouth on Saturday and the title is effectively ours too. The writings been on the wall, but it still feels surreal. What a club.
