Fulham 2-1 Leeds United - The look back
A nice and fairly comfortable home win. This Premier League lark isn't bad, is it?
That was a game of two halves. As in, the first was devoid of any entertainment, before the second delivered all of it.
We went in at the break on Saturday level with Leeds, and that was about right after a dull opening 45 - a classic lunchtime kick-off.
The second half woke everyone up.
First, Wilson fired in off the crossbar, following a weak Meslier parry, continuing his recent resurgence.
A little more than 10 minutes later, we were two up. Meslier again failed to deal with a ball from the left and Andreas was left to essentially walk it into an empty net.
There was still time for Leeds to pull one back, as a Patrick Bamford strike went in of Joao Palhinha.
It wasn’t all bad for Leeds ‘keeper Meslier though. He saved a Willian free-kick that seemed destined for the top corner, while Andreas rattled the crossbar with his set-piece effort.
That’s 45 points for the Whites now, after two wins in a row, ahead of three tricky fixtures. It’s the fastest we’ve ever reached this milestone - the sky is officially the limit. You whites.
What they said
Marco Silva: It was a great game for us and we didn't suffer too much in the end. We were the best team and the players deserved it as a group, to win again at home at the Cottage in front of our fans, and we have to keep going.
Harry Wilson: 3 points and a goal at the cottage. Great win team!
Rhys Daly: Back-to-back wins in the bag for FFC - despite not being at their best today. Ninth in the Premier League with 13 wins from 31 fixtures, six points above Chelsea with seven games to play. What a season this has been.

Up next: Aston Villa (A) on Tuesday
The start of a super-tough run of fixtures now. Could we start it by taking a point (or more) at Villa Park?
