Fulham 0-0 West Ham: The Lookback
Fulham 0-0 West Ham
That's another point in our survival mission, against a strong West Ham side. That's the positive. The negative is that we're still waiting for our first win since November. A well-earned point was over-shadowed somewhat by Mike Dean's red card to West Ham's Soucek, whose raised elbow was hardly malicious. Though it had little impact on the result, it'll live long in the newspaper column inches.
Our lack of cutting edge was again exposed on the weekend, with no fewer than 20 shots, but only two hitting the taget. Cavaleiro was again guilty of missing a gilt-edged opportunity, and it quickly starts to feel like Groundhog Day. Josh Maja came on with Mitro with only 10 minutes left, and we were left thinking what if as it pertains to two strikers on the pitch instead of, well, none. It's Everton Next, where we've not got a win in more than half a century. What if...

WHAT THEY SAID
▪️ Scott Parker: We had 20-odd shots and our finishing was probably the deciding factor. We caused them loads of problems. The players executed the plan superbly - we were a real threat. We know what the difference is at this level. This is a group of players working tirelessly and I saw that today.
▪️ Harrison Reed: Continue with performances like last night and the wins will come. Can’t wait for the next fight and chance to get 3 points.
▪️ Frankie Taylor: Another draw in a match that should have been a win. Scott was about 10-15 minutes late on throwing the dice, managing the game like we hadn't thrown away the first handful of games. Ruben and Cav had some chances that should have been put away really. Missed opportunity again.
