Brighton & Hove Albion 0-1 Fulham - The look back
That's two wins - and two Premier League doubles - on the spin. Did someone say "smash-and-grab"?
Boy, does it feel good to be on the right side of a late, undeserved winner.
And doesn’t it feel good to be able to watch a player like Manor Solomon? A magical winger with the ability to make things happen at will. To change games.
And that’s what the Israeli did on Saturday, latching onto a Vinicius ball to drive past Sanchez low and early and send the away fans’ limbs loopy.
Most of us will have seen the stats on may occasions by now. The possession; the shots; the corners; the fouls. But there’s only one that matters of course - the scoreline.
Brighton fans will be frustrated - we know that feeling all-too-well, but despite our theft of the three points, there was plenty to be happy about. Our superb game management and our defensive discipline, for a start. That’s three Premier League clean sheets in a row now. And Tim Ream is so good that people aren’t even talking about it anymore.
The result sees us sixth in the table, ahead a of a home game under the Craven Cottage lights against Wolves, where we’ll look to continue our impressive record of positive results against teams below us. You Whites.
What they said
Marco Silva: Overall it wasn't our best performance but we showed the resilience, the desire and the belief until the last minute to keep the clean sheet and win the game. They created more chances than us but we have lost some games where we have been the better team.
Manor Solomon: A massive win today! What a feeling to score the winning goal! We keep going.
Sammy James: I'm not saying we will finish there. I'm not saying we should finish there. But Fulham are in the top 4 race.

A win here would take us beyond the magical 40-point mark and surely put any lingering relegation chat to bed.
