How to watch Fulham vs Nottingham Forest

26th April 2022

Ahead of our home game against Nottingham Forest, sports journalist Craig Hanson gives us the lowdown on where to catch it.

Tonight is the first of three final games of the season for the already promoted Cottagers

Fulham will be a Premier League team next season no matter what happens between now and the end of this campaign, but tonight the Cottagers could also win the Championship. If the hosts win this evening and Bournemouth fail to beat Swansea away, Fulham will be officially crowned champions in front of a home crowd.

It’s a game which fans will be keen to tune in to and with the game being televised, they won’t need to use fotyval live streaming to do it. More on that later.

However, to get all three points tonight they will need to get past the in-form team in the division, Nottingham Forest. Steve Cooper’s side are absolutely flying, and with a place in the playoffs all but guaranteed, they will be looking up the table at Bournemouth’s second automatic promotion spot. Another slip up from The Cherries tonight and a win for Forest could move them within two points of the south coast side.

Fulham have been breath-taking this season but things have dried up somewhat of late. A slight dip in motivation is likely the culprit with automatic promotion feeling like a foregone conclusion for a very long time. One key stat which demonstrates this is goals scored. Marco Silva’s men have managed just ten goals in their last eight games, having netted a mind blowing 38 from their previous 12. It would appear that the players have understandably taken their foot off the gas somewhat.

Steve Cooper will be looking to capitalise on any complacency. His side have been rock solid at the back and will feel they can come away from West London with a clean sheet. If they can grab a goal for themselves, they can really heat up the race for automatic promotion.

It won’t be easy for the away side as the hosts are sure to be keen to win and claim the Championship crown in front of their own fans at Craven Cottage. They are also just one goal away from making it a century of strikes in the league this season, and star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic will hope to add to his phenomenal tally of 41 Championship goals.

Fulham fans who can’t make it to the ground will hope to see a little slice of history on their TVs, phones or tablets and they can do just that. Here’s how you can watch Fulham vs Nottingham Forest on TV and via live streaming:
