Podcast: New Faces, Old Gold

6th October 2020

Fulham brought three new faces through the door on Transfer Deadline Day, finally addressing the need for central defensive reinforcements with the additions of Joachim Andersen from Lyon and Tosin Adarabioyo from Manchester City, and then topping off the day with Ruben Loftus-Cheek arriving on loan from that lot down the road. We discuss our new recruits, how they might fit in, and take a look at the window as a whole.

We also look back at the Wolves game at the weekend, where a vastly improved Fulham were beaten 1-0 at Molineux, in a game which we might well have taken something out of but for AK47’s profligacy, and yet the outcome remained the same – nil points. To round things off, there’s a quick look at some players from the division below who might add that final sparkle, with the EFL window still open for another week, making for some discussions on Bournemouth’s Joshua King and Norwich City pair Todd Cantwell and Emi Buendia.
