Podcast: Cairney’s Latic Acid

30th September 2019

It might not have been the prettiest of games at Craven Cottage on Friday night but Fulham got the job done against Wigan Athletic courtesy of a strike from everyone’s favourite left-back and another absolute worldie from skipper Tom Cairney to seal the deal late on.

It leaves Fulham just four points off the top of the table and three points off the automatic spots with nine games played. The Fulhamish gang take a look back at the Wigan game and address the good, the bad and the ugly from what was a hard-fought win.

It doesn’t stop though, not in the Championship. The Whites travel to a battleground of past ghosts as they take on Reading on Tuesday night at the Madejski. We take a dive into Reading’s players, their recent form, and what we can expect from our visit to Berkshire.

The last remaining tickets for our live 200th episode with Gentleman Jim and BARRY HAYLES (!) from the Old Suffolk Punch (after the Charlton game) are still on sale! Tickets are selling fast, and there are a very limited number left, so don’t miss the chance to heckle Dom Betts LIVE. Tickets available here!
