Podcast: Downwards But Upwards

4th March 2019

It wasn’t the fairytale start that Scott Parker might have dreamt of, but his first foray into management was certainly a positive one as Fulham showed plenty of heart in Sunday’s SW6 derby. In today’s episode, we look back at the key events.

They include two well-worked Chelsea goals, a Calum Chambers strike that gave us hope, a second-half virtuoso display from Tom Cairney and a last minute offside heartbreaker that nearly sent Craven Cottage into raptures. Scott played the hits, but will he get an encore next season?

In part two we discuss the return of Stuart Gray, the players we’ll be most devastated to see leave in the summer and whether mentality outweighs ability in this final few matches of the season.
