All this huffing and all the apologies should result in more than just words. Fulham FC should be awarded 1 point. That would be real and not an easy flow of words and the apology would mean something. That point would take us out of our present position in the relegation zone. 1 point please!

It should be scrapped entirely. It disempowers referees from making decisions themselves & actively destroys the joy of the game. Watch any Championship game & you can feel the difference from the fans and players. Yes, refs will make mistakes without VAR but it’s refereeing mistakes we are still talking about! So it’s all of the downside, with no upside.

Yeah totally fair enough - the downside is obviously when something goes majorly wrong that can be seen in two seconds by a TV camera, but I agree at some point we have just have to accept that mistakes will be made. For what it's worth, I don't see the PL scrapping it

Keeping your piece as impartial as possible is admirable, Sammy. I’m a Fulham supporter though who can’t overlook how five VAR decisions around goals/penalties in 3 matches have gone against Fulham costing us 5pts in the table … the difference between second place and third bottom.

VAR has reduced the number of howlers; that VAR has not eliminated all howlers is perhaps acceptable. Prior to VAR most howlers were shrugged off.

VAR aids and abets bribery, corruption and match fixing. For that reason it has to be scrapped

VAR or not, teams like Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal and Man U are always going to get the calls against teams like Fulham.
