Very good - and I'd add his mentoring of Muniz is also key. There's been quite a few instances where they've been swapped around starting positions and Raul has done this with very good grace and built a team mate up rather than throwing strops. Not sure Muniz would have come on as much under Mitro

Great point Jim! Forgot to mention what a shining example is he to our more inexperienced players, particularly on the value of hard-work and bouncing back from adversity. A true legend!

His example of resilience and tenacity will linger long after he leaves the pitch.

Spot on George. It is such a joy to see him every week and what he brings on and off the pitch. From the deft flicks, the glancing headers, the backheel Andreas assist, the clever 1-2s and the flying buttock led approach to tackling, it's a delight.

Our Mexican maverick! We are lucky to have him at Fulham. A true role model on and off the pitch

Brillaint piece! The redemption arc here is what makes football stories so compelling. What really gets me is how he's transfromed the entire narrative around that £5.5m signing, from doubt to proving he's maybe one of the shrewdest deals recent history. Watched him agaisnt Chelsea and the celebration alone cemented his status for me.

Great read! His hold up play and willingness to track back and help defend really make him an all around great team player.
