I called the lack of Plan B and the BS statement about 'preparing' straight away, and have been proved right. That doesn't mean I'm a genius, it just means that the Fulham hierarchy are so easy to predict, that their lack of nous and/or care is embarassingly obvious. I'm not a total hater, because the Khans have invested heavily and improved our standing overall. But it's clear their approach is limited, and we will always be a step behind the Bournemouths, Brightons and Brentfords whilst they are in charge. And most infuriating of all is that they continue to treat fans with utter disrespect, as if we are all just dumb animals who should simply trust our far more intelligent masters. Most of us actually DO know more about football than the Khans, and we are not stupid or naive enough to buy the PR claptrap. Tony - we see you!
It's painful listening to Tony Khan. The guy lacks complete self awareness. The interview left me feeling we're almost certainly going to be in a relegation scrap this coming season. Yes, they invest in the club but boy, are the Khan's limited and patronising. I dream of a wealthy person/persons out there who would run the club from the stand point of loving the club, like the Brighton owner. Until then we're left with the corporate Khans.

I don’t like this tone or mindset. It’s like he’s doing PREMIER LEAGUE caliber players a favor by paying them what’s necessary to compete in the BEST SPORTS LEAGUE ON THE PLANET?!
I’d like to remain positive and hope for the best but the lack of self awareness and contingency planning for what everyone else saw as inevitable doesn’t forecast sunshine and rainbows.
Fingers crossed a manager is brought in that can operate to the level Marco was able to, with the obvious (& borderline obnoxious) limitations.
…& do have they even started to plan for when Antonee, Harry & others or scooped up or request transfers after the World Cup?!
Let’s get together, eh?! Ideally the owner(s) would have the club as priority #1…or at least delegate accordingly. Doesn’t appear to be the case. 🤞😎
I fired off that initial comment before listening to the interview. Great work, Jack. Quality questions that we all want to hear answers on. Tony appears to mean very well, but not sure that's enough for what the club requires to remain a premier league club long term. Hopefully the scouting department (exists and) has some valuable insight to provide the new manager and ownership. On another note, the implementation of SCR is pretty rich considering man city hasn't been held accountable in any meaningful way. C'mon Fulham!
Absolutely terrifying, wow. We all knew Marco was the driving force on the football side, but seems he was actually the only one even paying attention. We’re in a spot of bother here.
Firstly, thanks to Jack (awesome scoop) and Drew for the review. I thought it was positive that Tony made himself available and acknowledged he should do more of these — no doubt Jack will be ready for that pre-26/27 season interview TK hinted at. Please lock this in. His point about not wanting to tread on the manager’s toes is fair, although I felt the suprise at the way Marco exited does suggest a degree of separation from the day-to-day running of the club, which could be more than ideal and a concern. That said, the Khans have generally provided a stable platform and have a solid track record in sport, spending responsibly when the right opportunities arise. I think our squad with some signings and under a fresh (quality) manager could bounce here and I have my fingers crossed for this......No doubt Jack will be there to review TKs off season activity.
