Jimenez looking good, and scoring at the world cup opening game. I think he'll be missed.

Slot - No thanks

Frank - No thanks

McKenna - No thanks

Meanwhile the Khans said they 'perpared' for this, whilst simultaneously admitting they didn't see it coming. Just as well there isn't a WC that could get in the way of an unplanned, summer manager scramble. Oh, wait....

We are a laughing stock!

But at least we are planning to sign Kusi-Asare on a permanent deal, after giving him almost no minutes all season, and before we know who our manager is. Genius move!

Arbeloa has both minimal and modest management experience. He's a name, and has some fantastic playing experience, including the PL. But it would be quite the gamble!

If the Khans are smart (big pause) the McKenna retirement announcement, followed almost immediately by the interest in Arbeloa is FFC building the case that they genuinely believe that McKenna is out of the game. It's Fulham execs behaving as if they need to go in another direction so that when, shockingly, McKenna decides he actually DOES want to manage this season - Fulham don't need to pay the 8mil (I think?) fee to Ipswich. Look, we're just signing a retired guy and not a manager under contract to another team!

A boy can dream, no?

I still would try and persuade Thomas frank.
