"We will soon appoint a new leader in a timely but deliberate manner, who will meet the .... expectations of our fans throughout the world.”

So: my expectations of the Club lead me to anticipate Vince McMahon or Scott Parker.

Prove me wrong, Shad 'n' Tony...

I've been holding my tongue on this for a while.... but this article has made me bite.

Ange Postecoglou is not a chaos merchant, he is a deliberate strategic, long term player. But he has flaws.

That "high line" game that Spurs (stupidly) played against Chelsea seems to be the only information point people hold on Ange. Then they double down on the Forest weird 9 game appointment.

Fulham giving Ange a mandate and time and budget could be (could be?) an all-time move by the club.

Anyone sniggering behind their hands about him, or thinking he is a 'second season' one-trick pony has missed the story and is indulging in boring tabloid think.

I might not be right, but the guffawing plodders who treat him as a punchline are definitely not right.

Could easily do worse than Postecoglou.

I’ve seen about a dozen names being touted as top of Fulham’s list. It’s quite possible that the Chairman has already been negotiating with somebody that none of us has thought of or a big name with a proven track record.

Wanted. A manager with the drive of Kevin Keegan, the tactical nouse of Roy Hodgson, the player empathy of Marco Silva, the eye for talent of Alec Stock and the honesty of Bobby Robson but, sadly, Pep Guardiola isn’t available to us.
