Given that we've invested in wingers/wide players and we failed to get on the end of any crosses at the weekend, might we be interested in a "traditional" 9?

My concern with buying another CB is, when well they be ready for the PL? Surely we won't buy say, Ait Boudlal, and immediately make him our starting right center back. I am just worried that we didn't plan at all and now we've really backed ourselves into a corner.

The biggest mistake Fulham have made in a while is letting Diop go. The second biggest mistake we've made is letting Diop go before we had a plan.

We SHOULD have made Diop the starter and dropped JA to the bench. Then if we found a suitable replacement, we could have talked about selling Diop. And all of this should have been done months ago. Insane.

Furthermore, it really does boggle the mind sometimes when something is so obvious to like 90% of the fan base, and the decision makers don't seem to be on the same page. These issues (Marco refusing to sign a new contract, needing a new CB, needing a destroyer in midfield) did not just come out of nowhere. We haven't been blind-sided by any of this. These issues had months and months to sort out.

I try not to be too negative about our leadership/owners, because overall, they've really done a good job with the club. But these recent failures really make you wonder.

Enough with the Real Madrid youngsters! Fulham is turning into Madrid's feeder squad. Cringe at the notion of Ligue 1 transfers under consideration. And not a single English name on the list.

I just hope we haven’t left everything too late we shouldn’t have let Diop and Sassa go before bringing in replacements that was bad business.
