High risk but not since championship days I’ve been this excited about the squad. To my mind the defence isn’t so bad. Blaming only the 4 defenders at corners when 10 are back suggests a wider problem. Berge, Charles and García should add some strength there. Also set pieces have become a bigger deal. The midfield and attack could be sensational. This is by design. Consolidate with older players push on with best young players you can buy or grow.
Team Positive here: think many of the players have had a shock. AA was reported to have said the team presently can only play for 30 minutes. No wonder we couldn’t get results against Southampton or Wolves-Marco too busy talking to Pickfords.
The new season will be exhilarating. We may make some silly mistakes but think we will be mid table, but really hopeful for Silverware. AA has won everything-he’ll be looking for another medal to put in his trophy cabinet
Team On the Fence! Can see both sides, the upside is massive ..... but then again so is the downside. If we had a manager that had a bit more experience then i would be more comfortable.
All we need is an experienced head that is good enough to start matches and we should be fine. The 3 that have came up dont seem as strong as last years cohort aswell.
With such a lot of transition, gambling big on youth and a pretty inexperienced coach I'm worried alright. I sort of think we'll look good for parts of games but ultimately a lot of results could go against us. Only time will tell.
I think if the team takes a bit of a drop in the table (not relegation fight) but at least a few of the young guys start to come good I will feel reasonably happy with our season. Anything beyond that will be a great joy!
I'm much less worried about the defense. It's clear that in AA's system, the defense begins with our front line. We will inevitably be exposed to a counter attack on occasion, but we should also be winning possession back in the attacking 1/3rd much more often.
Not only will it be exciting football to watch, I reckon it will be very effective as well.

However, I will be positive in backing this young team all season even if things don’t click immediately. I hope that is also true for all those who wanted Marco out.

I know several are negative about Berge, but he has been playing great as a central holding midfielders in a 433 formation and I think he can show the same if Fulham changes from 4231 to 433. (I am Norwegian Fulham-fan, so of course I am a bit biased).
What worries me is the defence (all four positions). If Robinson can find his old self, that side is OK, but Castagne and Tete are not the best in the league. Castagne has been good for Belgium, so I wonder why he has not shown the same quality for Fulham. Cuenca, Andersoen, Bassey or De Fougerolles should be good enough not to worry, but they don't seem to click as a good defence should do
The keepers are also not the best in the league, so upgrades here are welcome.

Nervous but excited ,any new manager is a risk,so for me I hope the khan's backing AA to the hilt irrespective of results.
We are at least buying young,hungry players to back up the managers up and at em pressing style.
