I like the high energy and fast attacking play Alvaro is getting us to play, under Marco we were too slow and predictable so I am looking forward to the new era, we do need at least 2 new defenders which I hope we will sign before the transfer window closes. COYW.
Can García and Muniz replace Jiminez’s goals - 5 without penalties? Can Bobb, Kevin, King, Palacios and Smith-Rowe pick an extra goal every 2 games to cover Harry Wilson’s contributions? Very positive
Fulham 0 - 4 Chelsea. You heard it here first. Sorry, but our leaky, exposed defence is going to get mullered by Rogers, Palmer, Estevao and Neto. Caicedo and Enzo will shut down King and Berge. Garcia will be starved, Bobb will constantly be on the backfoot. And someone (money is on Cuenca) will get sent off. It's going to be a long night to start a long season. We need a more forceful midfield and some charasmatic leaders.
We need to try and ignore the outside noise , the pundits tipping us to go down etc . One game won't define our season or AA reign. I think he's here for a while & with a few more signings we'll give it a goid go. Sacking managers halfway through as season doesn't work ,just look at wolves & westham . Trust the process & the spartan
I am excited about arboalas first season there's a core of Silva's team which should stop any relagation worrys,we will also improve over the season as we get used to an aggressive pressing game .
Think Palacous will be the key signing and everything good will go through him, rather than Garcia (who will score goals) backed up by Berge and king, and ESR.
We do need a RCB and can see it being in true TK last minute deal.
I think it will be a pretty clear defeat to Chelsea but our season won't be defined by these sort of games. It will be defined by how we get on vs the Sunderlands and Coventrys of this world.

Fulham this season are like Hotel California. "It could be heaven or it could be hell". I'm excited for heaven !

Not to mention a random goal here or there from sess and Timmy, or another defender

Hopefully not, but I must agree that we are losing the midfield battle on strength and aggression

I have a feeling we are going to be like Newcastle in the 90s. Goals aplenty at both ends. Fun but stressful.
