How you can mark Kevin and Oscar Bob above Garcia for me makes the whole scoring meaningless. Bassey had an excellent game as did King but weren’t marked higher than they should have been. Understand it’s subjective but 6.5 for King is nonsense
Agree on Arbeloa, except he should be docked a point for not applauding the fans, who he hasn't yet shown any real effort to make a connection with. But he did pretty much everything else I wanted him to do in terms of personnel and tactics, so fair play to him. Hopefully it's a more fundamental sign that he isn't going to be as naively / arrogantly stubborn as I feared he might be throughout the season.
However, I still think his comments before and after the game show that he still doesn't fully appreciate that he is mostly dealing with seasoned and established professionals at a PL club, rather than a youth squad in an invisible lower league. He can't expect to try and employ a radically new system and unjustifiably parachute in and show blatant favouritism to some Spanish kids, and expect the Fulham squad to instantly accept and adapt. I get he's the coach and players have to step up, but he's not bossing a bunch of kids about anymore, he needs to show the existing squad and the prior context of the club a bit more respect I think.
Reasonable scores Sammy. Bit harsh on Bobb. No score on Muniz? I'd have given him a 3. That touch was awful. I think quite a few in the FFC podcast/SM space have been way too eager to form an opinion on AA. Some of the flapping was a bit silly. I wouldn't form any opinion until we are at least 10 games in. You can't instill a new philosophy, team and management group and then form a view on it after 3 games. It's a nonsense. Saturday was the first time he had he team available. We need to chill.
I think you summed it up perfectly I Too really like Affengruba and Charles and it was a great improvement all around, we have to keep it going now with the same intensity thanks AA .
Are we ready to stop ragging on Berge for not shooting enough for people’s liking? Ngl, it’s gotten old. If you want a reason to critique him informatively, performance in duels and long balls would be nice :)
Interesting that you should have made the comparison with Hangeland. I well remember his amazing debut and thinking that Roy had made the signing of the season. Let's hope 'Dave' can emulate Brede's achievements for the Whites.
I think Robinson’s score should be higher. I actually thought he was great yesterday and definitely back to his best.

Agreed, but sess is quite injury prone. Perhaps he has a small knock and they're just resting him precautionarily
