Usually think these ratings are even handed, but you’ve let your emotions get the better of you today. Be positive and get behind the boys! COYW!

Really? I don't think I was that harsh. We lost 3-0 and didn't have a shot on goal until the 80th minute. We would have lost 5/6 if Arsenal didn't sub their best players at half time. No point being positive for the sake of it.

Arsenal are likely to win the league, and (possibly) the Champions League; they were utterly scintillating, and almost any team would have been bested by them today. Did we play well? No, but you must concede that there was little Silva could have done today, esp. given the illness in the camp. It was simply a case of hoping Arsenal had an off day, which they were very unlikely to do given their league position. These ratings, imho, are scathing towards a hamstrung Fulham side who, lest we forget, dominated Villa last week. Positivity breeds positivity - I suspect we will beat Bournemouth comfortably this Saturday. COYW!

Totally get that and hence why I didn't start going down the 0/10 or 1/10 route (except for Jedi, who did have a bit of a nightmare) ... Two things can be true at once that Arsenal were scintillating, but Fulham were absolutely woeful too. Obviously, the scoring system is completely subjective, but I don't think any player deserves a 6 or a 7 when they could barely string together a passing sequence or fashion any sort of chance. I really don't think these ratings were scathing at all and I do think they took into account the quality of the opposition, but totally understand if you disagree!

Fair enough! In light of Everton’s battling performance against City, I’m definitely more sympathetic to your ratings. Thanks for responding Sammy, and great Pod as always!

Best comment on Robinson was how poor he was with the ball. Yes, a terrible mistake on defense, maybe two. But, for all the praise Saka received, Robinson largely shut him down when he actually was covering Saka. He should have just stuck with that.

Seems a bit harsh to give Robinson a 2/10 but certainly was not a good day for him so perhaps fair. But if you’re giving Antonee a 2/10 then surely Andersen deserves a 0/10. Gykores had no trouble whatsoever getting free of Andersen for a tap in opening goal. Andersen then gave Gykores all the freedom in the world to pick out a pass for the second goal. And on the third goal when the break starts Andersen is actually quite close to Gykores but rather than stay with him and mark him, Andersen instead waives an arm to signal for Bassey to come from 30 yards away before he slowly drifts in the general direction of Trossard without ever actually offering Castagne any help in closing down Trossard. I think we would have been better off playing down a man.

Agreed - shocking selection even with the mitigating factors. As some of the other comments highlight -> where was josh king, diop, cuenca? The least we could have done was string together a side to offer up a fighting performance. But instead we were completely overrun without a hope of competing. But that has been the trend of us on the road, especially against the 'big' clubs. 10 wins at home, we seem to play fundamentally different at the cottage -> lets hope for another dramatic turnaround.

Sammy your read on the game was spot on imo. After such effort put in against Villa last week I was expecting us to come out and get stuck in.

Oh hang on, Fulham string two matches on a trot at that level, what am I thinking 🤔.

From the get go, we were back to our usual don't care, let somebody else do the marking and running around.

Who is to blame here? The players for lack of effort, or the manager for letting his team get away with it, week in and week out?

Why Robinson is even in the squad at the moment is bewildering. My aunt could have done more, even though she died 10 years ago. ESR and Wilson, were they actually on the pitch? Come on Fulham! Your poor fans expect better than this utter garbage.

Bournemouth, Brentford and Brighton may be close to us on points, but it's not for the lack of trying. They show up every game and give their best. That's all we're asking.

I too would have liked to have seen us start with 3/5 at the back. Both Bassey and Cuenca can play LB and would have given Robinson some help in keeping Saka (who was/is brilliant) quiet. It would have made even more sense if Sess had been fit to play as a wing back. Without Berge alongside Lukic we always looked vulnerable.

I don’t care what you call it, Diop should have started and Lukic moved up to give us midfield presence. I’ve written about it elsewhere, but Silva’s waste of the man he described as “top professional” is baffling. On the squad, but was he affected by the virus?
