Hull City 0-2 Fulham - The look back
Hull City 0-2 Fulham
It was a professional, if not scintillating performance on Humberside on Saturday, but nevertheless, a much-changed Fulham progressed in the FA Cup.
We opened the scoring through Layvin Kurzawa in the first half; the full-back poked into an open goal (albeit all the way across it!) after Hull 'keeper Matt Ingram parried Harry Wilson's effort.
The game was put beyond doubt in the closing minutes as Dan James powered past the Hull defence to score unchallenged, with Ingram still in our box following a late Hull corner.
It's Sunderland at home in the fourth round, with more than a few Fulham fans thinking we might finally mount something resembling a cup run. You Whites.
WHAT THEY SAID
▪️Marco Silva: Job done - a professional win as well. It doesn't matter who you're playing, it's always difficult to play these types of games.
▪️Manor Solomon: Been waiting for it... I’m back.
▪️Rhys Daly: Nice FA Cup victory for FFC yesterday. While not in a relegation dogfight or battling for promotion - this could be the year for a cup run.
