Are we really lucky if Harry’s personal positive goals vs xG accounts for more than the rest of the team’s negative goals vs xG? I’d say the luck is that Harry hasn’t missed many games this season.

Interesting stuff. I’m not sure if xg & luck equates, as it’s more down to skill levels & composure. I feel we have been quite unlucky this season, but with subjective refereeing & var decisions

Thought provoking. Completely agree with your analysis. Not an easy solution as it looks like a Wilson will leave. Without him we would be struggling, as seen in our last two games.

I guess he may sign if Marco does. Who knows -not me.

This is why Wilson is NOT a player Fulham should overpay to keep. This is his best season - and it is also his luckiest. Does anyone think that Harry is going to have a second season (when he's 29, 30 or 31) where he outperforms his xG by an even remotely similar margin?

This doesn't mean Wilson is valueless - he's been great and I'd love to keep him BUT if his agent is insisting he receive a salary that reflects who he has been THIS season, the club should realize what they're being asked to pay for- a fantasy.
