When your keeper doesn't keep (eg. feet too wide apart for a by-line shot & wandering off his line - similarly too last week's Bailey goal) then the game is not yours.
Also, IMO, Kevin is being played too narrow into a crowd which is not his Forte. Maybe with both Muniz and Jimenez out try Kevin up top with ESR & Iwobi & Chuckwuze underneath.
btw: wasn't that deliberate Ming tomahawk elbow to Raul's spleen on his headed goal last week repugnant and so unprofessional to deliberate assault a fellow player?
Centre forward: Fulham, no team really, cannot change their playing system and play without a true striker and expect to score and win games at this level.
I agree with not playing Kusi-Asare yet, he would be clueless out there... but why was Loupalo-Bi not brought in? The lad is killing it with 8 goal-involvements in only 5 games in PL2 and has played with the first team in pre-season training, wouldn't he have been a better temporary fix-it than whatever Marco was trying Friday? At least until Raul gets back?
There's more than a hint of deja vu watching Fulham play. It seems that there is some sort of master plan that means the "go to" strategy is to play out from the back, and then play out of our half to create. This does happen - this season mainly when King is involved. But this cannot be the main way we get forwards. The playing out from the back also too often seems to provoke some sort of defensive foul up. When perhaps varying the approach would put the opposition more on the back foot. I agree with the comment about the defence and with a lack of a centre forward - it seems an awful lot has to go right. We've looked great in parts of games - but it also seems there's either a really good performance when our game is suited to the opposition or we're in trouble.

Doesn’t Leno deserve some blame for the first 2 goals as well? Terrible angle on the first one and then once again giving up a goal from very far out.
