Does the loyalty points scheme not 'function' for a few vocal fans who can't get tickets for Bournemouth and Brentford? Any supporter (ST or not) has access to some away games. STs with just a little longevity have access to most away games, including games in London. How does that compare to other clubs?

Yes, Brentford and Bournemouth are the only games that really need a large amount of loyalty points now - but the fact is that the system is completely broken and they're lucky the issue only raises its head twice per season. Next season, if we qualify for Europe, this will become a massive issue that upsets a lot of people because allocations will be very small but demand will be very high.

From Googling, it appears that minimum allocations in Europe are 5% - so they could be small (before the final!). However, will the long-standing fans who go to a few local games (Brentford etc) be off to Spain, Greece, Moldova? Is it an issue twice a season - with fans who've been going for decades (through thick and a fair bit of thin) getting priority over fans who've been supporting for much less time (and been able to go to up to 17 other away EPL games)? The latter will find they have a hefty amount of points after a few years. (I speak as someone who hasn't qualified to go to the Gtech until this year - and I was fine with fans who remember Johnny Haynes getting in before me during that time.) I think some fail to appreciate that it is a 'zero-sum game' - that is why the Chelsea Boxing Day debacle and this year's Buxton run mess were lows for the Club. There are a few issues with the current system (e.g. why do STHs get more points for buying extra home tickets?). However, making a significant change could make very little difference, and potentially make things worse, upsetting some very loyal ('legacy'?) fans - and just for a subjective judgement between two small 'groups' of fans for two games per season.

I understand that inflation is a thing in all the markets, however i am just not sure whether it is the best option for the club, its business is so off for example we should really be selling Wilson and gaining profit instead of letting him go free. If we were smarter with signings we would be able to lower ticket prices letting the younger energetic supporters come and throw their passion at the game. Because fan support should be something the club would be wanting to grow.

worth noting that the FST have a seat on the FAB

That’s like “noting” that Russia has a place on the UN Security Council. Or that Trump has a FIFA Peace Prize.
