Spot on Sammy. Expecting to see another PR cover up by lobbing out a load of free tickets to stooges and pretend suddenly 750 people decided on Friday evening that they simply couldn’t miss Fulham against Wolves

We know where the residents of Finlay Street will be tomorrow at 3pm

Pretty much what probably happened from my view of the Riverside

Well said. The price makes a huge difference. Tomorrow's game is my last for a long while. I am expected to fork out over a £122 for 2 tickets to watch a struggling team that has not been supplied with anywhere near the right players in the summer window to compete at this level. First priority of the Khans should be to recruit properly if they're going to charge top end prices!

Personally, I sort of disagree - even if we had the best team in the world, I'm not prepared for Fulham fans to be priced out.

I do understand that but if the Khan's are not going to ever lower the prices at least we'd watch a decent team.

Well said Sammy. Unfortunately they don’t get it. This where cultural

Even though I started going to Fulham back in the early 70's as a local, I'd not consider making the trip from the West Country to pay £100 for a seat. I can afford it, fortunately, but for the four of us that's a lot of cash. And this needs saying.

Needed saying. 👏

Difference diverge. The Khans do not seem to understand the difference between the club’s history and cultural history. It is incredibly short sighted of them to insist on an elite fan base in the Riverside. Many of the bigger clubs have that covered. Not never the wayward tourist is going to pay a £100 to watch two struggling teams near the foot of the Premier League. The long term Brentford model of encouraging young families and local support will win the day.

I have often supported the Khans decision in the past but I have come to the conclusion that they do not understand that running a football club is more than a spreadsheet

Well this rich, educated fan living in the heart of the "beautiful location" will give up his season tickets and never spend money at the Pier if the team sucks. I resent week in and week out being amongst tourists and away supporters (in my row) in the Putney End while the team is uninspiring and flat, and all the fans can occasionally muster is a weak short-lived COF chant. Whatever the Khan's think, if the football isn't there then all this Riverside luxury and Fulham Pier stuff just becomes a sad joke

Would dynamic pricing fix this issue? A relegation 6 pointer between two unfashionable teams playing some awful football was always going to be a hard sell to tourists and non-season ticket holders alike. Maybe the answer is to allow prices to be dropped when the demand isn’t there. Of course, we’d then have to put up with sky high prices when the tourists want to see the big teams play us. Would it be worth it?

Perhaps the league could institute fines for failing to sell out weekend matches? Fines that count against PSR?
