Drew, great points all. The elephant in the room here, is that we are looking at some dreadful decision making by our manager. How often do we have to endure the same mistakes while hanging on to the idea that Marco is infallible?
Thanks Drew. I am always amazed at how we can lift against a top 6 side and then just die of boredom playing sides below us. Its a common issue. Something Silva needs to address. ESR a perfect example - was great in this game, but.... Silva has to take responsibility for this. Scoring 4 goals against City should translate into thumping some of the teams below and around us. If they find the key to this we can start dreaming. #COYW
I'm not sure who advised Marco but the presence of Castagne and Chuckwueze at the half line at halftime was the halfway point to changing Fulham's future to an attacking presence. Tete's backward tendencies and uninspiring threats against a City side -who's mantra is 'the best defence is a good offence' - ought to be seated beside Lukic waiting to come on to protect a 2 goal lead.
The other half of 'changing Fulham's future' was Kevin. An opponent's defence that double-teams a fast effective winger, like always happens to Adama, cannot do two wingers at once without leaving acres of space in the middle. Maybe Harry can take a run as a central striker releaving Raul.
Asking Marco to 'just go for it' though, may need Fulham's pundits to ask Marco often?
