Hoping Silva and Jimenez stay, and looking forward to your reports next season. Best of luck with your dissertation!

Thanks! Surely one of them will be staying...

Thank you for documenting a difficult season so thoughtfully and knowledgeably! I may miss a day or two before reading, but your reports are always must-read.

Thankful not to qualify for Europe as the squad's not yet composed for that and the Khans' rep for waiting til the last minute would not bode well for such an arduous trek. Passed along condolences to a BHA fan-friend for their Conference qualifier asking for a postcard from Astana in August.

As we end the season, this Yank has two words to consider for the next - Aidan Morris, Middlesborough center-mid. I doubt he'll be selected for the USMNT tomorrow but he'll be right on the cusp, and affordable.

Good luck with the dissertation!

Great writeup as always. Though I'm a bit more positive than you on Berge today goven how he pushed forward much more than normal. Otherwise sums up my feelings very well!

Have a great summer all. See you in August. COYW

Thanks!

I thought Berge was alright, and definitely worked well with Iwobi in midfield during the first half! It's just that Newcastle had a few passages where they looked more threatening before Cairney was brought on, and part of that was down an increase in momentum Fulham weren't able to disrupt as easily. Still, he contributed to the win, which is the main thing!

Your reports have been a must read this year and I’m continually amazed at your ability to analyse a game so quickly and produce a readable report.

Dissertate well and I look forward to reading more excellent reports.

It is worth noting that in terms of wins over the season Fulham finished 6th on the table. Too many close losses which should have been at least draws.

Definitely - lots of games have really poor errors in them that end up costing us the result, and we're not the best side at recovering from them either. Andersen's red card at Bournemouth a few weeks ago is the obvious example here, but there's plenty more across the season!
