Crystal Palace 0-3 Fulham - The look back
Crystal Palace 0-3 Fulham
Well, we’ve all missed the mighty Fulham, haven’t we?
Whether you were munching on leftover pigs in blankets watching Prime Video, or braving the Boxing Day cold at Selhurst Park, that was enjoyable.
Yes, Palace had two players sent off, but don’t let any naysayers fool you: the Whites were imperious. And determined to bag the three points from minute one.
BDR put us one up with a header, before Palace went down to 10. The second half got worse for the Eagles - a second red took them down to nine, before Tim Ream put the game beyond doubt with a wonderfully taken goal, and Mitro got the goal his performance richly deserved to seal the derby win.
We face bottom of the table Southampton on New Year’s Day - it would be so sweet to build on this and cap off 2022 in the right way. You Whites.
WHAT THEY SAID
▪️Marco Silva: It was a great team performance. We knew before the match we had to match them and be brave, and we did it. We knew they've been strong at home.
▪️Tim Ream: Here for at least another year 😏 Merry Christmas everyone 🎁
▪️Cam Ramsey: Ask yourself: is this the greatest Boxing Day on record? Thriving. Ream bags, Diop bodies, BDR glances another and Mitro rounds it off with a shithousing. Palace fans gobsmacked, the mighty Whites do the damn ting, stick that in your gammon sandwich you absolute rippers.
