We are nowhere good enough for Europe and we need at least 6 new players and they need to be better than the ones we already have, Robinson was awful once again and if anyone offers a good price for him we should bite their hands off , Wilson seems to be waiting to leave and I think now we should let him go, Reed isn’t good enough now and Raul is past his best, we have to strengthen our squad if we want to progress in the Premiership.

Can Issa Diop file for Divorce?

On a day when Berge was not available, and a week after Lukic has shown he can energize Fulham in the middle, 1/3 of the pitch, Diop could not even get a sniff. My recollection is that Diop has been no worse than “ok” and sometimes quite good. He’s certainly big and “a top professional “‘ and is valuable in either box. Marco?

Also, Jedi made some horrible mistakes. But when he was actually man on man with Saka, Jedi almost always made Saka give up the ball to a teammate or surrender it altogether. In this game why let him do anything else. Marco?

Owen's enthusiastic reporting is to be commended but I have only just visited the site and I have to say some of his terminology, grammar and general writing style is terrible. Is there not one person checking/subbing/proof reading his copy? It's almost childish in parts. His recent Arsenal report at the Emirates. Players get 'injured' not "hurt." "Reed arrived?" What you should have said was: "He replaced." Saying Reed 'arrived' conjures up images of the player driving at breakneck speed to the Emirates already changed and then replacing Berge?? Have a word someone. Then Owen mentioned Lewis-Skelly, who he derisorily described as a "squad player." Skelly has just appeared in Arsenal's CL semi final, second leg winning side! A squad player is a player who is hardly ever used. Get your facts right! Then there was "certified" goalscorer Gyokeres. He hasn't taken a course in how to score goals and hasn't been 'certified' because of it. The term 'certified' usually means someone who is a headcase/mental problems. ALSO. You should ALWAYS give the first name along with the surname of a player.... IF it is the first time you have mentioned him. That's a given. So it's VIKTOR Gyokeres. Tbh, I couldn't go on reading. It was just too painful and laughable in parts for someone who has been a senior news and sports reporter for 46 years now (check out my books "When George Best played for Fulham' and 'The Night Craven Cottage Shook, Fulham's Greatest Match with Bobby Zamora) Also, most fans don't need a 'book length' report on a match. They will have watched the highlights on their phones or laptop or dipped into a running match blog on SKY or the BBC or wherever. They already know the nuts and bolts of what happened. So, Owen. Your reports are way, way too long and far too over descriptive. My advice to this lad is if you want to radically improve, read other match reports written by top sports writers like Martin Samuel at The Times. His copy is as sharp as a razor. Read how he writes then go over your content and style.

Diplomatic report on perhaps the most dismal match of the season. Saka is, indeed, a special player who shredded Fulham, as he'll do to any opponent, especially those playing half-awake. Fulham can only dream of the likes of Rice to anchor the midfield. Enough Arsenal, on to the top of my list, beside the manager, being Chukwueze whose play was the most clueless I've ever seen in the Premiership. He simply does not appear to understand the whole game, especially defensive responsibilities. Let's see how his return to pairing with Leao works out. This was not the match for Reed to start. Not sure if USMNT fans are aware of Robinson's drop (disappearance) in form. Special scorn is reserved for Silva who neither prepared the team to compete nor put an energetic squad to run a tired Arsenal into the ground. Agreed, the ranks are thinned but he had 20 first-team players to choose from, and he picked wrong. Broadcasters in the US, including the British game callers, spent 99% of the time laying out the red carpet for Arsenal's coronation, so it was a difficult watch across the board, but one Fulham point discussed was the imminent, as they said, departure of Silva. While I had been content to do what it could take to keep him at the club, today's performance was more than enough to bid a fond farewell. Now for a very difficult rebuild.

Disagree. With this squad and budget, staying up is success.

It just seemed as though ESR and Lukic (and to an extent Bassey) were the only Fulham men out there who had any desire to compete. And unfortunately even at their best neither are good enough to carry this team on their own the way someone like Wilson can change a match with one magical individual moment.

Andersen, Wilson, and Jimenez were dreadful. If Harry already has his bags packed then let’s leave him out of the squad. Robinson was ok, not good but ok, until he completely switched off for Saka’s goal. He needs to do some serious rehab on that knee this summer.

For me, Leno and Castagne did nothing worth mentioning good or bad. But where has the version of Chukwueze that terrorized Man City back in December gone?

And Reed, well there’s a reason he had not started a league game for 2 years. Cannot really fault him for being woefully over matched.
