I don’t think it’s Tony - it’s Ali Mac (and some Shad because he’s gone along with Ali Mac on this wait until the last minute stuff). Ali Mac is the one who has convinced Shad that they need to drag out negotiations until the last minute to save money. Tony has his list of players. And, we tend to get good players when we sign them but our problem recently is waiting too long to sign them (and just not getting enough in). We do reach out to players but our problem is that we will not close - which is what Ali Mac does - because we believe that the prices will go down if we negotiate hard enough or wait long enough. Also, we are not getting rid of Tony until Shad sells the team. So why not focus on the main cause of this problem.
We are around 5/1 with most bookies for relegation, which tells you all you need to know. To be honest that sounds pretty generous for all the reasons in your article. I am at the point where I'd settle for different owners even if it meant being a steady championship team. I'm sick of the whole Tony Khan nepotism thing. The guy is obviously unqualified to be our DOF and frankly, it's embarrassing. Good, loyal supporters are let down by an ownership that don't really have any genuine love for the club or supporters. Difficult times.
We are very slow out of the blocks. If my Company missed as many opportunities, we would be in trouble. Even Chelsea are going for experience this season, as it deserted them last season. A dominant all round experienced midfielder and a 10 to 15 goal Premier striker in bound rapidly, as we have lost the two players with goals in them!
This is his break into the Premier League and foe a man who has won everything as a player, a man who is highly competitive that is not what is happening.
Timings have been an issue all year. Firstly Marco delaying his announcement he was leaving, which created a stale and flaccid end to the season. We then had to wait for Mourinho to sign before Marco could go to Lisbon, which lead to the late signing of Arbeloa.
Mourinhio move is still having cause and effect on our plans: affecting our transfer policy, whilst he assesses which players he would like to keep in the Real squad and which can be sold for profit.
According to rumour Arbeloa wanted several of the Real youth players both to buy and on loan. The delays in Madrid have complicated matters as now other European clubs are vying for the same players that were identified by him.
He also has to assess the Fulham squad in a short time span. Senior players, who may still have value in the transfer market, will be moved on and replacements who can fit into his system of playing found.
It’s a complicated business. Some players are only just returning from World Cup duty and need to be assessed, both for their qualities and fitness and injury issues
To compare other club’s transfer policy to our own will only lead to doubts and confusion. Each club is different. It’s very dull to hear the constant and repetitive call for TK to leave. That is Not going to happen. Then the blame always falls on the doorstep of Ali Mac, a seasoned Scotsman who is not going to listen to the rabble when it comes to transfers - and why should he, he has a job to do. ( Not that I agree with many other aspects of his policies).
We will get players by the beginning of the season. Whether we can persuade the players and their agents that they should sign with us is a different matter. It’s not all to do with money.
It’s very encouraging that we are looking at our own academy,as well as the Real academy. This is progress-I don’t think Marco ever reall recovered from the indignity of losing to Crawley- what a night , hilarious! He was always cautious of promoting the U21s team after that.
It goes without saying we need a Striker, and a prolific one at that, but they are not easy to get and do they see Fulham as The opportunity into the Premier League ?
Once we have one I’m sure things will fall into place. It would be worrying if we had to rely on the delightful Muniz as our Man Man for the whole of the season.
This is a New Era-exciting. It will probably take time to get everything

It's all well a good saying that but at least put some counter arguments. Stating facts like the goals have disappeared with the loss of Wilson and Jimenez and players like Diop leaving and Chuck not returning are obviously not nonsense. They are facts.
We are all entitled to our views , respect yours but prefer to think positively till after the first game not negative as sites of keyboard warriors and subscribe to Fulhamish coyw

I think it will be one if 2 scenarios. I don't think it will be more of the same. It will be either a complete mess and we will be on the bottom 6 having a worrying time come Spring due to the gaffers inexperience and the stubbornness of Khan. Or there will be a total change in mindset at player level and we click as a team and start getting more consistent results. New signings will have a positive influence and our existing players will play to the Arbeloa model rather than remnants of Silva. Obviously as a STH I hope its the latter.. but I do share the authors worries.
