Several players have greatly improved under his watch and credit is due to him. His obsession however with including at least one RM boy when there are good and possibly better alternatives smacks of nepotism. And why substitute our best young players for the sake of it as happened v Aston Villa.
This angle is so exaggerated, Angel and Palacios have hardly played in the league and Garcia is (rightfully) starting as he is the better striker to Muniz..
Yeah I agree with the reply. Neither of the CF options have separated from the other, so you'll always be inclined to go with the pacier option. Palacios looked like he might be shoehorned in early on but has since lost his starting 11 place to better options and now looks like his second half minutes are being more reduced due to other options like TC. But I still like Palacios at times when he comes on for those bursts too.
I get what you are saying, yet disagree somewhat. Angel should not even make the bench IMO.
Palacios did start the first match or two if I am not mistaken and continues to be one of the first subs brought on in a lot of matches. Meanwhile the only player in our squad who has scored Champions League goals is rotting on the bench when we need a goal in tied matches. The Villa match, in the second half when we had Villa on their heels was the perfect time to bring on Kevin and go after all 3 points. And finally, I just think Muniz should get more time on the pitch, Garcia has started 9 straight matches and has one goal to show for it.
People are hard to please. If we hadn't chucked away two goals at the end to Ipswich, it would be 3 wins, 3 draws (Liverpool, Man Utd, Villa) in the last six Premier League games.
I've quite enjoyed the season we're on same points as Silva's season at the stage and think AA will get a reasonable season and as a team coach he will only get better.
I have been pro AA from the start, think At inspired signing. Marco did an amazing job but I found him extremely frustrating. TK comes under so much criticism, most of it unfair, that his decisions are often heavily criticised. AA ‘s signing was defined as a gamble, but bringing in any manager is a gamble. We are all ‘experts’ but there seemed to be a lot of negativity when AA was announced. Getting an ex manager of Rea Madrid should have been seen as a coup. As a player he won • 1x FIFA World Cup (Spain, 2010)
• 2x UEFA European Championships (Spain, 2008, 2012)
• 2x UEFA Champions Leagues (Real Madrid, 2013–14, 2015–16)
• 1x La Liga Title (Real Madrid)
• 2x Copa del Rey (Real Madrid)
• 1x FIFA Club World Cup (Real Madrid)
• 1x UEFA Super Cup (Real Madrid)
• 1x Spanish Super Cup (Real Madrid)
Not bad.
And has been coached by most of the elite managers.
Why was this going to be a problem of inexperience.
“He hasn’t managed a Premier League Club!!!!!”
Panic….Agh!
Why didn’t we keep Marco?!!!!
After a couple of unfortunate results …
SEE, I told you so.
Marco….irreplaceable!
Idiot Khans have let us down….Again!
We’ll give him three games.
THREE Games….to prove to ME that he’s got what it takes.
Shit! What was he doing? Any idiot can see those were the wrong subs. The man’s a fool.
And he didn’t applaud the Fans(even though he was disappointed and felt like he didn’t deserve appreciation) What an insult!”
“He can’t adapt “
Ok. We won, but they are a newly promoted side.
Two in a row!
But they too were a newly promoted side.
Ok, even I was very disappointed against Palace.
But “OK, we did alright against Villa”
Good Point”
“But I’m still VERY wary.”
“Maybe we will finish mid-table”
And so it goes on….
I like AA, he’s a very positive force. A young manager with vast experience.
Start to Believe
“Me? No, maybe you don't know me but I played for the best team in the world. I have coached the best team in the world. Maybe you don't know, but just to let you know, that pressure is part of my life since I was a kid. So, it is normal in football... I think pressure is something that is important for me and I like it. I am a coach so I never worry about my position. I don't feel fear. You cannot be a coach if you feel it.”
How can you still think Fulham are kicking the can down the road?
Stinks of people who didn't like Arbeloa from the get go and don't want to admit they were wrong. The football we are playing is great and second half we battered one of the best sides in the league at their own ground. This coming after back to back wins against teams who have taken lots of points off established prem teams.
Multiple senior pros have come out and said that Arbeloa has the support of the players - if you aren't behind him now then it's strange to me..

Palacios looks a classy player, his quality is there for all to see.

A weakness under Marco was away results. We seem more resolute away this season (Ipswich doesn't fit i know).
So if goals start i am hopeful.
