Leaving Raul on for 90 minutes when we have JKA on the bench seems a strange call to me. No complaints about Raul he was completely out on his feet.

He was excellent! It was really frustrating to see him basically left to his own devices whilst the rest of the attack traipsed about. And yeah, the sooner we see JKA the better!

As ever a raft of salient points. 1-0 though against the favourites for the league with moments when but for a better finish we could have taken the lead offers some hope.

Injuries are certainly a concern but if we perform like this in the next four games we will surely have a number of victories to celebrate - hopefully!

Thanks!

I definitely think there's positives to take from the game, and the injuries certainly are having a massive impact on how the squad can react to setbacks (particularly when teammates start dropping mid-game!) Hopefully next week, against a team that shouldn't play with the same rigour as Arsenal, we'll have an easier time, because if we keep losing games it really will start to draw on people's minds, both in and out of the club!

I would even have taken Ross McContract as a sub today. Raul doesn’t have 90 mins in him even when fit. Or what about a month of Michail Antonio to cover Muniz?

Or better yet, the striker in the squad right now on loan from Bayern Munich!

Are you available if Marco walks? I’ll take over the match reporting… every one’s a winner!🥇

What does Marco have against JKA? Why did we loan him to sit on the bench. He can never prove himself on the sidelines.

I think JKA played both games for Sweden U21 so was away. With any new arrival Silva takes time to drill them to his patterns of play. Having said that I also think Silva didn’t agree with the option and wanted the more expensive Tyrique George who can also play wide; so some of it has been like a tantrum. Hopefully the point has been made and as JKA gets more squad time he will feature. If he doesn’t play a minute against Wycombe then time to panic…
