Podcast: Red Dead Damnation

12th February 2019

As Fulham’s season ground to another staggering halt against a rejuvenated Manchester United on Saturday, the faith in youth and talent that summed up Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in one dugout contrasted starkly with Claudio Ranieri’s inability to provide any sort of spark to our own players.

In the latest episode, we look back at the long, hard slog against the Red Devils and how one substitution managed to turn 80% of the entire ground against Ranieri – compounded only further when he stated that after the game that he felt the boos were because he withdrew Andre Schurrle from the fray. There’s plenty of debate around systems, formations and if the gaffer has totally lost the plot.

Later on in the episode we discuss who might be in the frame should Shahid Khan pull the trigger, and discuss the cases for people in the frame, not in the frame and who aren’t even in the same building as the frame! There’s a stack of questions from our new Whatsapp Group (which you can join by hitting this link from your phone: bit.ly/FulhamishWA) which we take some time out to look at.
