Podcast: A Right Royal Redemption

12th April 2018

Fulham ground out a 1-0 win over Reading in a potential banana skin of a fixture last night, in a trickier-than-expected fixture against the Royals of Berkshire, who became somewhat of a nemesis in the season prior to this one.

That’s not all though, as the result, combined with a wonderstrike from Jack Grealish which condemned Cardiff to defeat at Villa Park, saw the Whites jump above the Bluebirds into the automatic promotion spots, albeit for the time being, with Cardiff having a game in hand.

The boys convene to discuss the performance against Reading yesterday, whether or not the Fulham team look tired, and whether the Royals appear to have enough to beat the drop.

There’s plenty of time to discuss the upcoming derby day with Brentford, who have confirmed this week that they are again sailing by boat to their Cup Final day out (🙄), and how the Bees will look to cause us problems and spoil the party.

To top things off, Jack goes for an interview with Mr. Roland Jacquarello, author of Being Fulham, to catch his views on the book, the season as a whole, and gather his thoughts on how this campaign ranks in the pantheon of Fulham stories he has in his locker.

If you’re interested, the book is available on Amazon and Lulu, with a special offer for Fulham fans available until the end of the month.
